New Projects Keep T.G. Sowerby Developments Busier than Ever

T.G. Sowerby Developments are busier than ever, with works starting imminently on the construction of 44 houses and the establishment of a Small Works Division

T.G. Sowerby Developments are looking ahead to a full order book of interesting and prestigious projects throughout not only 2017, but into 2018 and 2019 as well.

The Flagship Ongo Development, the Construction of 41 Houses at Westcliff is due to commence shortly, with Chris Sowerby coming back into Scunthorpe to take the helm of the development. This project will see 22 houses built in the first phase, due for completion in mid-2018 followed by a further 19 due for completion in mid-2019.

The 20 House Development for Ongo Homes on Plymouth Road, is coming towards completion, after which Steve Lyon will be heading across to Retford to oversee the renovation of the former Newcastle Arms Public House in Retford, which is being renovated and extended to create new apartments and will be handed back just before Christmas.

In addition, the Company has reorganised its approach to Small Works. Director Steve Lyon, explained, "One of the strengths of T.G. Sowerby Developments is the care and attention we give to every project we are involved with, irrespective of its scope, this is reflected in our approach to supervision of our sites. Our reputation precedes us, and so we are invited to take part in a wide range of projects. With smaller projects such as an extension to a Funeral Director's premises in Scunthorpe and renovations to a Scout Hut in Brigg coming onto our radar, we took the decision to form a division within our firm specifically geared towards undertaking these projects. George Sowerby has joined our firm as Small Works Manager and is overseeing these projects. We're dropping him in at the deep end, and he'll be turning his attentions towards a Small Housing Development for Ongo, a three house project on Grange Lane South which starts next month and is due to be handed back in the New Year."
