On Friday, October 9th, the new Tennis Clubhouse for Retford Lawn Tennis Club was formally handed over.
The project involved the Construction of a new, purpose-built, pavilion building to serve as the new Clubhouse and replace the existing, temporary building. The works were overseen by Steve Lyon, the Site Manager and a Director of T.G. Sowerby Developments, who said:
"This has been an excellent project to oversee, one I am very pleased to have been a part of. I am immensely proud of the finished product that has been turned out. This job has given our tradesmen an opportunity to showcase their considerable skills and for our apprentices, it has been a chance to put their learning into practice on a variety of disciplines."
The project lasted 5 months and was delivered as part of a larger scheme of works which is being undertaken by T.G. Sowerby Developments at Trinity Hospital in Retford.
